Skills

• I am skilled in several programming languages, including:
  • Master of PHP, ASP (ick), PIC Assembly, C, HTML/CSS/XHTML/JAVASCRIPT/ALL WEB LANGUAGES, VB (ick).
  • Good with C++ (including VC++), BASH/CSH/ZSH, PERL (rusty, or would say master), Pascal/Delphi, Modula, several assembly languages.
  • Have used, but should brush up on VHDL, Forth, Cobol, Java.
• I can perform many electrical engineering tasks, and is familiar with automation systems and the electronics/software that they are made up of. I have in the past designed and built:
  • An electronic exhaust brake controller and the attached hardware, which I invented. The device is patented by Pacbrake and should see production in the third quarter of 2002. Variable geometry exhaust retarder. Should be searchable in the USPTO database very soon under my name.
  • Several electronic test harnesses and controllers, including: strain amplifiers and logging systems, large diesel engine dynamometers, pyrometers, automatic time lapse data acquisition systems, and much much more!
  • High accuracy/speed pneumatic actuators and controllers. Motion control systems of several types.
  • Laser diode proximiters, video artifact recognition and measurement.
  • Inductive pickup proximeters
  • Battery powered portable data acquisition systems for mobile applications
• I speak English and French.
• I am a self starter, and capable of working either individually, or as part of a team. Either way, I can produce results.
