Well, I took delivery of my brand new Analog Devices ADXRS300 today. The device has a bit of a null offset, but I can probably calibrate that out. This thing is a truly amazing piece of kit, with rate and thermal sensors built right onto the die, and a precision NULL source as well. It works exactly as advertised.
Progress on the motor drive system is going well also, with the integrated structural and drive electronics system. I mill the support structure from FR4 PC board, and also mill the circuitry right on the same piece. Brass or bronze stiffeners and mounting hardware are soldered to the same part, and the whole thing is coated with a colorful dielectric paint (yellow I think for this guy). The result is a lightweight and space saving combo. This is a great idea which I attribute entirely to the beam guys.
sir please more information about robtices construction
