The VRC was discussing moulding materials earlier today, so I am posting some info here. First of all, for high temp mould making materials you can look at Dow Corning's mould making materials site here. I would also recommend reading their mould making tips.
Their robot skin material (no I am not kidding) should be of particular interest. For metal moulding it looks like 3120 RTV is the hot ticket. You could also use HS II if you absolutely have to have undercuts, but I think it is temp sensitive.
